Day 1:Arrival - Madaba

Meet & assist at Queen Alia airport by our representative. Transfer to Madaba for overnight at a hotel.


Day 2: Madaba – Kings Highway – Wadi Ibn Hamad – Dana

Breakfast,early morning we will pick you up from Madaba hotel to begin your tour.

We will head out of Madaba down the Kings Highway, passing through very scenic landscape known as ‘Jordan Grand Canyon”

We will arrive to our first adventure, Wadi Ibn Hamad. This is a subtropical water fill canyon of hot and cold springs. We will hike the trail for 2-3hrs.

Then we will continue our trip south passing through Kerak on our way to Dana.

We will arrive to Dana, enjoy dinner and overnight in Dana Hotel.


Day 3: Dana – Wadi Malga Breakfast,early morning transfer to Dana by car.

Arrival and continue our hike through the Jordan Trail from Dana – Wadi Malga. This trail is a steep decent from 1700 meters above sea level to -200 meters at the valley of Feynan. Passing through a diverse ecosystem of highlands in Dana Nature Reserve to the desert of Feynan. The are of Feynan is known for it’s ancient Roman copper mines which we will pass through on our way to Wadi Malaga.

Day 4: Wadi Malga – Ras Al Fied Breakfast, continue our hike through the Jordan Trail from Wadi Malga – Ras Al Fied

Today will be a more difficult end of the day, we will begin with hiking through the desert plateau of Wadi Malga. Then we will cut across with a steep ascent across boulders and rocks as we reach the foot of a steep track going high into the mountains. This pass is known in Jordan as the Ras Naqb. The trail will head up a well trotted Bedouin migration path, as you look back and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Wadi Araba below. Continue our ascent to our wild camp site in Ras Al Fied.

Day 5: Ras Al Fied – Little Petra Breakfast, continue our hike through the Jordan Trail from Ras Al Fied – Little Petra.

We will continue our ascent up the sandstone mountain terrain the landscape will begin to change with rich vegetation in our sight. You will also begin to see the legacy of the Nabateans the ancient people who built Petra, carved into the sandstone mountains which surround you.

While walking this part of the trail you will meet the local Bedoul’s. Bedouls are nomadic people who settled in this area thousands of years ago. When they were first discovered by the local arabs they did not follow a modern religion, they were considered to be Pagens, until the locals converted them to Islam giving them their modern name of Bedoul “which means in Arabic “Switched” It will be a very unique experience to meet them and see how they still continue there ancient traditions in a modern world.

You will have a chance to sleep in a ancient cave inside the site of Petra with the local Beduoul.

Day 6: Full day visiting Petra The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabateans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site Much of Petra’s appeal comes from its spectacular setting deep inside a narrow desert gorge.

Start through Petra Back door. This is a bit more adventurous and begins with a 20 mins drive to the area called Little Petra. This served as the trading post for the main site of Petra. We will begin with a 2hrs hike through little Petra and beautiful surrounding mountains area, until you reach the monastery. Then you will continue through the main site of Petra exiting from the main gate.

Overnight at a Bedouin Camp.

Day 7: Little Petra – Wadi Rum After breakfast, we will depart to Wadi Rum by car.

Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world.

The name Wadi Rum came from one of the oldest languages in the World Aramaic. In Aramaic Rum means high or elevated and the Wadi is Valley, so direct translation means the Elevated Valley. Elevation of Wadi Rum on the ground is between 800- 900 meters above sea level, making for a very unique desert climate. Wadi Rum is home to Jordan’s Highest Mountain, Jabel Umm Admai peaking at 1840 Meters above sea level, you will have a chance to climb and enjoy the beautiful views of the desert across Jordan & Saudi Arabia.

Upon arrival we will begin hiking through the unique desert landscape of Wadi Rum.

Our hike today will begin in Wadi Rum protected area and hike for 20 KM (moderate).

Until our camp in Siq Barrah.

Tonight you will enjoy traditional dinner and overnight camping* in Wadi Rum.

*Camping in the desert independently (Tents – Sleeping bags – mattress) You will be alone, with your desert guide.


Day 8: Wadi Rum After breakfast, continue hiking through the various desert landscapes of Wadi Rum, passing through high touring canyons of sandstone. Enjoying sightseeing of natural rock formations like the Mushrooms, Bridges all cut out by the desert winds and sands over millions of years.

Continue of our towards the South and the highest mountain in Jordan Um Adami.

We will sleep by the base of this mountain.

Tonight you will enjoy traditional dinner and overnight camping in Wadi Rum.


Day 9: Wadi Rum – Aqaba or Amman After breakfast, we will hike to the peak of Jabel Umm Adami, the highest Mt in Jordan.

After our decent we will enjoy a nice home cooked meal as we say farewell to our local bedioun guide.

Transfer to Amman or Aqaba for the end of the tour.
